The City of North Myrtle Beach is proud to announce it has secured housing for its lifeguards for the 2008 beach season.
The Ocean Surf Club, located at 208 Second Avenue South, will be the headquarters for out of town lifeguards. Lifeguards will have a short walk to work and play, as accommodations are only two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and Main Street in North Myrtle Beach.
Lifeguards can expect to see clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Each room is equipped with internet access and a television. Each floor will have a central meeting area that features a television, a pool table, and a full kitchen with a stove, microwave and refrigerator. Outside each room is a balcony with beach chairs.
The rental price is $90.00 per week and this can be deducted from the lifeguards’ paychecks.
